Matthew 9:20-22 

And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. 

• The woman touched the hem (Tassels on Garment)

(Strongs Dictionary) Greek – Kras’-ped-on or Hebrew – tsee-tseeth (a fringe or tassel-border),

(a floral or winglike projection) of Jesus’ garment the tassel hanging from the edge of a Jewish cloak to remind the Jews of the 10 Commandments (Num15:37-39)

Numbers 15:37-39 

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,  Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:  And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

The woman touched the tassels with the blue cord – representing the 10 Commandments that Jesus came to fulfil on earth, bringing a New Commandment.

John 13:34,35

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. 

• By FORGIVING one another our bodies get miraculously healed from diseases and bitterness.
• The Golden Oil from the tassels meaning – oil is intended as a symbol of the work of the HOLY SPIRIT, who is present to glorify Jesus in healing works.  Anointing with oil is a prophetic action – declaring the present dependence upon the Anointed One – Jesus Christ, whose power is ministered by the present work of the Holy Spirit in our midst. (Dripping from His garment).

The White Talit

Symbolizes Jesus’s covering her sins and protection and that

“Jesus has healing in his wings” She looked to Him by faith and when her faith touched His grace she was healed

The Blood

The Blood in the background was done in (Acrylic pouring technique) and it can represent either the woman with the issue of blood or Jesus’s blood that healed her.

What disease is a issue of blood? 

Common blood disorders include anemia, bleeding disorders such as hemophilia, blood clots, and blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
